GFS Metalworks needed a site that was capable of displaying their products.
As a 'Bespoke' manufacturing company, they do not carry stock on the shelf.
The website is very much a graphical display of a few of the company's installed works but has some extra display facilities on the photo galleries, and also makes use of the live maps API provided by Google Maps.
This site makes extensive use of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), to give easily updateable presentation. The site is built using web compliant XHTML to give good cross-browser capabilities.
Their current website was created by us some time ago. It is now in the process of being upgraded to more efficient code, making it easier to update with new information and to improve Search Engine Optimisation.
The site was created with the aim that it was useable with any web-browser and makes extensive use of Cascading style sheets to help improve performance and maintain correct operation no matter what software a visitor is using.
The owners are very happy with the site and it has performed well for them throughout the year both from the point of view of bookings and customer reaction.
The site is also hosted by us as part of a complete package.
